Getting Started with CrossFit

By Confluence - Posted on 04 October 2009

Feeling brave? Motivated? Interested? GREAT! Getting started at Confluence CrossFit is very easy; all you have to do is contact us to sign-up for our free Introduction to CrossFit class held on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. If a Saturday morning won’t fit your schedule we can set up a private introduction at your convenience.

Our Introduction to CrossFit class will begin with one of our trainers explaining our approach to fitness, then taking the class through some skill work based on the movements needed for the workout that day. The class will conclude with a short workout and a Q&A session. Everything will be done at YOUR pace and at YOUR fitness level. Total duration for these classes are an hour.

After this initial exposure, everybody is required to complete our CrossFit On-Ramp Program before joining any of our group classes. This program will familiarize you with the equipment and movements that we primarily use in our CrossFit classes while also gradually exposing you to the intensity of our workouts. CrossFit On-Ramp consists of 4 two-hour classes that can be completed over a 1-4 week period of time depending on your availability. Upon your successful completion of the On-Ramp training you will have access to all of our group classes.

On-Ramp Cost: $120 for the full series of 4 two-hour classes
